From Spring to Fall, life revolves around the expansive outdoor living and entertaining areas and the 60 square meter pool. The totally private master suite opens on to four terraces offering dramatic 360‐degree views to the sea, the estate, and mountains. The area is purely agricultural, with animals grazing peacefully in the surrounding fields.
The back gate of the property accesses a scenic hiking trail that passes through the valley to the ancient Church of Agios Sostis at the water’s edge. The estate is conveniently located on the east coast of Sifnos, a 20‐minute drive from Kamares Port, near the Agios Sostis trailhead, overlooking a quiet and unspoiled valley to the sea. Villa Anna-Maria, nestled in the peaceful setting of Fyrgani, is an elegant newly built private residence sitting on a mild slope hill facing an infinite southeast view of the Aegean marvel, offering undisturbed communion with nature and serenity. The residence is composed of two distinctive parts connected through the central covered archway: the main unit, which is composed of different single-storey volumes and the guest unit, which is a rock-cut structure dug into the natural terrain.
The complex in its entirety was built respecting the traditional architecture. All efforts were put so that each one of the different volumes would be of the appropriate proportions to fit into the natural landscape and that all masonry walls would be built of stone collected from the plot. The residence has ample indoor and outdoor spaces, conducive to family and friend gatherings.
The outdoor space offers, amongst other, an isolated stone paved terrace surrounded by olive trees where one can admire the awe-inspiring panorama, while either relaxing or exercising. Built as a wealthy captain’s mansion at the end of the 19th century, this villa is one of the few neoclassical mansions in Sifnos. The listing is a spacious one-level living area of 300 sqm with a 1,500 sqm garden situated in the quiet area of Exambella. It has a clear view of Apollonia and Artemonas, as well as the islands of Syros, Tinos, Paros, and Mykonos.
The house that is stone-built with walls up to 70cm thick and 4,5 m high has been completely renovated with more up to date materials for comfortable living, respecting the style and architecture of our ancestors. From the 2 level veranda, one has access from the living room to the garden which extends all around the house. A less than 100 m paved path leads to the house from the main road. Easy access to the center of Apollonia by foot to enjoy the nightlife, as a footpath will get you there in about 10′. A supermarket is just 100m from the house as well.
Main house: Two bedrooms. A spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom (tub) and a bedroom with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom (shower). There is a 3rd bathroom in the hallway that can be used by 3rd bedroom tenants and guests. Rooms are separated from the living room by a big vitraux (stained glass) door.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils that one finds in a city family house, with lots of facilities that will make you feel like home, can accommodate 12 people. A spacious living room with a big wood and glass characteristic coffee table (ship’s deck part), a TV set well hidden if one wants to keep the traditional décor! WiFi is also available.
The veranda is on 2 levels. The upper one has access from the living room, is equipped with a large marble table and chairs to seat 6-8 persons. Going down some steps one can find a stone table for more shade or just wander at the Mediterranean garden with fig, lemon, pomegranate, almond trees, and a small vineyard and beautiful bougainvilleas.

Hanging above the port of Vathy and enjoying extraordinary 360 degree views to several Aegean islands this 7-bedroom villa is comprised of three separate houses which measure 320m² in total. The Main House features:
A 100 m² living room with open kitchen with seven large windows offering spectacular views to the sea south and west, and to the mountains east and north. A separate utility room fully equipped can be used as a second kitchen. The living room opens to the swimming pool and to a large, shaded lounge area.
Three bedrooms measuring 35m² each with en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms. The master bedroom has its own terrace overlooking the village of Vathy. The other two rooms face the mountains northwest. All are equipped with queen size beds.
House #2 consists of two 25m² bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closets. Each room has its own private shaded terrace overlooking the sea and nearby islands. Both have queen size beds.
House#3 consists of two bedrooms measuring a total of 54m² with one large bathroom and a kitchenette. These rooms open to a private terrace and an ancient aloni (threshing floor). They are equipped with four single beds that can be combined into 2 king size beds.
A 400m² beautifully landscaped courtyard planted with mature olive, carob, and wild pear trees provides shelter from the winds. The pool is also situated in this area as well as an outdoor cooking area with a Webber BBQ and an outdoor shower. Two separate outdoor dining areas can accommodate up to 16 people.
The house was completed in 2022 with very high construction standards. Only natural materials were used: local stone from Sifnos, marble from Festos, Crete.
Distance/ accessibility
Villa Louise is located on the ancient path from Apollonia to Vathy, 800m from Vathy beach on an 180 meter elevation (20 minute walk to the beach downhill, more uphill) . It is 20 minute drive to Sifnos port, 10 minute drive to Apolonia and 10 minute drive to Vathy. A 4-wheel drive car is recommended as last 1km that leads to the house is partially paved.
